Last saturday was the first edition of the Nordic Delight Festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
For the last few months I was working as a part-time film programmer and together with two others we were responsible for the ‘filmhus’ at the festival. As you can imagine it was great to combine my two great loves, Scandinavia and film, but sadly I wish I could have done more for the festival. Due to unforeseen busy schedules on my part I only got to book two documentaries, however they were great! And luckily my colleagues also managed to book some great features and short films 🙂
Some pictures I made when I was walking around between shifts, it isn’t very crowded in some pictures because at that time there were bands playing somewhere else, but overall the festival I would say was a great success and also quite crowded. We had to turn people away from the ‘filmhus’ at several points!
